About

I’m Radu (2350 classical OTB), the founder of the project. I like playing Lichess games on my train rides, and I want to improve my ratings and learn a thing or two for fun.

Due to my passion and need to keep studying openings to increase my Blitz rating, I kept having issues with the tools I was using. I decided to build my own and experiment with tools that I want to build for myself. I also thought it might be useful for others.

I want to be able to study openings and periodically write some small articles about my lines.

The analysis runs Stockfish in your own browser (its source is here). It is free software under the GPLv3, and the copy this site serves is the unmodified WebAssembly build from stockfish.js, which you receive under that same licence. It runs as its own program, loaded separately and spoken to over the UCI protocol.
